Caleb Courtney
Bio
Caleb Courtney was born and raised in Florence, Mississippi. As a local citizen, Caleb has grown alongside the City of Jackson and its surrounding areas his whole life. He received a B.A. in English from the University of Southern Mississippi, and thereafter enrolled in Mississippi College School of Law, where his passion for representing his community grew.
While immersed in the world of law school, Caleb’s dedication shone through his participation in various clinical programs, championing the rights of individuals across different walks of life. His representation included students within Mississippi’s public education system and the state’s revered veterans, honing his ability to stand firm against established institutions that might exploit the underrepresented.
Throughout his three-year tenure in law school, Caleb not only excelled academically but also actively engaged with the local legal landscape. He completed two impactful clerkships with prominent local firms, dedicating his time to assist Mississippians facing challenges in criminal law, property matters, estates, contracts, and personal injury disputes.
Having successfully obtained his law degree and earning admission to the Mississippi Bar in 2022, Caleb embraced his new role as an associate at one of his clerkship firms. With every interaction, Caleb’s dedication to his clients shone brightly, leaving a trail of appreciative individuals who lauded his comprehensive communication and unwavering support.
Today, Caleb brings his tapestry of experiences and fervent advocacy for Mississippi’s communities to the dynamic ‘Maggio Law team.
