About Tes

Tes Richburg was born in Peongtaek, South Korea and raised in Huntsville, Alabama. In December of 2018, she graduated from the University of North Alabama at 20 years old with her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Legal Studies. While at the University of North Alabama, Tes was President and Captain of the Mock Trial Team and competed in multiple national sales competitions across the country. While interning with the Lauderdale County District Attorneys’ office, she also received her Property and Casualty license (Insurance License).

Committed Advocate for Justice

After college, Tes enrolled in law school at Mississippi College School of Law. During law school, she competed in two moot court competitions, and was a finalist in the 1L opening statement competition. In 2020, Tes spent most of her summer assisting an insurance defense firm in preparations for an oral argument before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. In 2021, Tes spent her summer advocating on behalf of immigrants with the Mississippi Center for Justice. Also while in law school, Tes was a law clerk for ‘Maggio Law where her passion in advocating for those wrongfully aggrieved and injured only grew deeper. She graduated law school in May 2022 at 23 years old.
